I could have continued to fuss with the canopy but today I made the decision to declare it finished. I removed all of the tape and very carefully cut and sanded a few edges that looked a little rough. It turned out really nice - a lot better than I expected. I still have some interference somewhere because I have to close the canopy fairly hard to get it to close completely. Maybe this is normal. Also the canopy doesn't track very smoothly because the nylon guide in the back is rubbing against the fuselage.
