I ordered a GNS-430, GTX-327 and a Precision Engineering audio panel from Avionics Unlimited in Conroe. It is about a 1 hour drive from here but it was worth it because the folks there are really great to do business with. Besides getting a great deal on the avionics they went out of their way to answer my many dumb questions. I had previously bought and had them install a GPS, NAV/COM and enunciator on my previous plane and can say from experience that their work is first rate.

Back on the ranch, the wire to the tail nav light was too short at the switch panel. I first tried to pull a few inches of wire from the rear fuselage but it was too tight so I cut the terminal off and spliced in about 12 inches more wire. In doing this I had to remove the floors (again) but just as well because I forgot that I will need to run coax for the GPS antenna.

I laid out how I wanted the Dynon stack to be on the instrument panel. I marked the cut lines with a permanent marker.
