I wired the elevator trim servo motor. Works great and the LED follows what the trim tab is doing. I also received a sample LED cluster from www.superbrightleds.com. It has 3 red LEDs in a small plastic box. The picture below right shows it hooked up to the dimmer circuit illuminating the switch panel. I like the effect but I think it has too wide of a spread. One cool thing about using the LEDs is that the cluster only uses about 20mA. There is no chance I'll exceed the capacity of my 1.5A dimmer. I used the patterns that came with the cushions to cut the pieces needed for the front seat booster cushion. I decided to start on this one since mistakes will not be as noticeable. I used Christine's quilting pizza cutter and board. The red fabric is something like Cordura called Dynamite and is sold by www.rochfordsupply.com. I bought about 2 yards or red and about 2 of blue. My plan is for the upholstery to match the exterior colors and to look like a skydiving harness/container. |
