Today was a very busy day. I showed up at Bill and Tom's hanger early in the morning. With their guidance I installed the pistons into the cylinders and the cylinders onto the engine block. Tom and I verified the torque settings. Bill and I towed the RV8 to their hangar and all three of us installed the engine. Bill and I then put the tail wheel in the back of a golf cart, strapped it down and towed it back to my hangar.
I installed the pushrods, sleeves and rocker arms. I then installed the valve covers, fuel injection lines and spider as well as the fuel injection servo. I hooked up fuel lines, throttle and mixture controls. I also installed the induction pipes from the sump to the intake ports.
