Christine and I riveted the right rear skin to the fuselage skeleton. She operated the rivet gun while I bucked. Almost all rivets except those around the upper part of the F-811 bulkhead were easy to set and buck. The F-811 ones were tough because one of the two bars that are used to attach the horizontal stabilizer was in the way. The topmost rivet was almost impossible so I used a CS4-4 pull rivet rather than risk damaging this critical area. Christine did a great job. There were no dings or ripples. |
