I installed most but not all of the nut plates for the mid cabin consoles. The right console doesn't match up quite right with the F-804 channel cap. It looks like I drilled the channel cap holes such that it doesn't stick out far enough to line up with the mid cabin console.
Update (6/24/2006): I saw another RV-8 with exactly the same problem. This builder put in a spacer between the console and channel cap. I plan to do the same.
