Today Christine, I and the kids went to the Houston RV Builders Fly/Drive-In. The picture at the top left is of Paul Dye's awesome RV-8. It looks even better in person.
After having been greatly inspired...
I installed the fuel tank selector valve as per Vans instructions. The pointer needs to be ground off since it it the handle that does the pointing in this configuration.
I also finished riveting and bolting the mid-cabin braces to the F-804 center section. Getting that bolt in was a real challenge since my hands are way too big for this. Just two bolts took me an hour.
I riveted to left longeron gusset F-854. I did the right one a few days ago. It must have been a long day because it took me three tries to set the two front rivets. I had to drill them out and try again. Long day.
