I installed the nutplates for the inner z bracket onto the spar. Then I bolted all of the z-brackets to the spar and mounted the tank flush against the spar and leading edge. There was about a 1/16" gap between the tank and the top inside skin next to the leading edge. It looked like this was because the flange part of the rib where it gets riveted to the spar wasn't bent at a 90" angle. I took the tank off, removed the rib, bent it and put it all back on again. This time it was just about flush. The joint plate also kept it from being completely flush without pushing down on it.

I drilled the holes for the attach screws to full size.
