I clamped the inside rib down and cut the access hole into it using my flycutter. Piece of cake. I thought I might maul the rib but it actually turned out really well. I also cut notches in the snap bushings that separate the fuel line from the ribs to allow thewire from the outer capacitive plate to connect to the inner one. I also soldered a wire to the BNC connector that goes on the inner rib.
