I built the fuel pickup tube anti-rotation bracket from some 1 x 1 angle stock. I used a 1/4" bit followed by a Unibit to cut the 9/16" hole for the tube.

I drilled holed in the access plate for the fuel line AN elbow fitting and for the two rivet holes. I the applied lots of the PreSeal substitute that Van's sells on anything that can leak and then riveted the bracket into place. I tightened the AN fitting nut to squeeze out the ProSeal.

I drilled the holes for the nut plates for the access cover. I then dimpled the rib and countersunk the re-enforcement ring on the inside and screwed everything together. There is one tooling hole that is covered by the gasket but it is really close to the outside of it. I haven't figured out how to close it up. I have read about people using a rivet but it would be under the gasket, perhaps interfering with its ability to seal if it isn't completely flush.

I then drilled the fuel cap flange into place The flange has a very sble bend in it that has to be lined up so that it will follow the countor of the tank skin

While playing around with the drain valve I noticed that I couldn't screw it into the flange part beyond about a thread or so. I looks like the valve and flange are threaded differently with the valve having finer threads.
